About the Photographer

Picture the Event was started because of a strong desire to take beautiful pictures. I wanted something tangible to remember the experience and be able to visit that memory with a photo. Started as a hobby it progressed with advancing technology. I began to get offers from strangers wanting to buy pictures that I had taken. I started out taking photos with small Kodak 110 mm camera. Then progressed to the Nikon SLR’s that I use today.

Picture the Event was the name chosen because I have been many places and met many people that I wish I had a photo of. Some of the places are only a memory. Many of the people are only a face in my mind. Henceforth the name, “picture the event”.

I am constantly searching and for ways to enhance my skills. I am always searching for new ways and techniques to produce a better photo. Photography is a more than a business it is a passion. I hope this passion will last for the rest of my life. A satisfied customer is what drives me to constantly hone my skills.

My photos are guaranteed because I am proud of my work. Quoting from the book of Proverbs 22:1, A good name is rather to be chosen than riches, and loving favor rather than silver and gold.
